Our History
Built in the 1950s, the former Yankee Clipper  (now the B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach) is a fascinating attraction to itself — located right on Fort Lauderdale Beach, as it was built to resemble a large ship.

 

Inside, you will find The Wreck Bar, a unique restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, an oasis of nautical design resembling the interior of a shipwrecked Spanish Galleon, complete with aquariums and briny décor throughout. Then there is also a bonus – large portholes that look into the hotel’s pool from behind the bar.
