This year, the City of Fort Lauderdale is pulling out all the stops for its annual 4th of July Spectacular. We are talking about a massive, free, all-day celebration right down the beach from us, complete with massive water slides, a live concert by a country music superstar, and a double-feature night sky show.

The Main Event Schedule
The festivities kick off at noon and run all the way until the final firework fades over the ocean. The celebration is split across two primary hubs: Las Olas Oceanside Park and the main Fort Lauderdale Beach Stage (both just a short cruise down A1A from the resort).
Afternoon Fun: Family Beats & Beach Games (Noon – 5:00 PM)
If you’re traveling with family, the afternoon is entirely dedicated to the kids. Head down early to catch:
The Kids Zone: Set up on the sand just south of Las Olas Blvd, featuring a live DJ, interactive beach games, and giant inflatable water slides to stay cool.
Arts & Crafts: Over at Las Olas Oceanside Park, you’ll find face painting, crafting stations, and a patriotic “Tribute to the Troops” musical performance to start the day.
Evening Headliner: Walker Hayes (7:30 PM)
As the afternoon cools down, the music heats up. Country music superstar Walker Hayes will take the main Fort Lauderdale Beach Stage at 7:30 PM. Get ready to sing along to massive hits like “Fancy Like,” “AA,” and “Y’all Life” right on the sand.
The Grand Finale (8:45 PM – 9:15 PM)
Make sure you have a clear view of the ocean by 8:45 PM. The city is introducing a dazzling patriotic drone show featuring hundreds of illuminated drones mapping out animations across the night sky. Immediately following at 9:00 PM, the signature 4th of July Fireworks Show will light up the entire Atlantic horizon.

Because the event takes place righton the beach, a little planning goes a long way. Keep these quick tips in mind to keep your holiday completely stress-free:
Ditch the Car: Traffic along A1A and Las Olas Boulevard will be diverted, and local beach parking lots carry a flat $25 event rate. Because you are staying at B Ocean, you can easily walk down the shoreline to the festivities or take a quick, scenic ride on the Water Taxi (Stop F7 at Las Olas Landing is the closest drop-off).
Claim Your Sand Early: If you want a front-row seat for Walker Hayes and the fireworks, grab your beach towels and head down to the beach stage area by late afternoon.
Cool Off at the Resort: If the midday July sun gets a bit too intense, skip the crowded beach lines and head back to B Ocean. You can grab a refreshing cocktail at our iconic Wreck Bar or take a dip in our infinity pool before heading back out for the evening headliner.

Quick Logistical Reminders
Road Closure: Las Olas Boulevard between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 6:00 AM until midnight.
Prime Time Transition: Notice that the main entertainment hub shifts from the park over to the main Beach Stage at 5:00 PM to prepare for the evening concert and sky shows. If you want a great view on the sand for Walker Hayes, plan to head toward the beach stage around that time!
